Now a wee ember glowing in the grate.  Tiny, dull orange, slowly brightening to crimson before him, unfurling into a flickering petal of fire.  No bigger than his thumb, shimmering with light and warmth.  He gasped as she evolved into feminine form, diminutive but exquisite.  She flew like a spark from a bonfire, her movements so rapid he couldn’t keep up with them, but at last pausing in front of him, a nymph of fire hanging in the air.  In her flickering light he could see a suggestion of features; hollow eyes, snub nose, curving lips.  Her hair blazed around her head, a constantly shifting halo of flames.  Full breasts, narrow waist, hips, and long legs, all in miniature form.
